Our Values

All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: 2 Tim 3:16

Heaven

Our primary focus is to make Heaven and reign in eternity with our Lord Jesus Christ.

“Except a man is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God”. John 3:3
“Notwithstanding, in this rejoice not…but that your names are written in heaven”. Luke 10:20

    • Make Heaven your priority
    • You must experience the new birth to have hope of Heaven
    • The way to Heaven is narrow and you must be prepared to pay the price to enter
    • Without holiness, no man or woman shall see the Lord
    • Trust and obey God, He will carry you through.

The Word of God

“Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, a light unto my path”. Ps. 119:105
“Moreover by them is thy servant warned: and in keeping of them there is great reward”. Ps. 19:11

    • The Bible is the Road-map for Believers in the world
    • You should study it
    • You should obey it
    • Believe it
    • You should be present at Bible Study meetings
    • The Word of God is infallible and complete
    • Purposefully invest in spiritual resources; edifying Christian literatures, sound teachings, anointed messages and spirit led conferences and seminars in order to enhance your Bible knowledge and develop yourself spiritually.

Fellowship

“Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is…” Heb. 10:25
“Behold how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity”. Ps.133:1

    • Attend meetings regularly, punctually and be involved
    • Expect an encounter with God through his servant and ministers
    • Promote love, unity, and fellowship in the church by your godly conduct and sincere support
    • Attend members’ special occasions to show support as part of the body
    • Serve God primarily for who He is, not because you want solution to a situation
    • Be a source of encouragement to new and young members
    • Avoid backtalk, side talk, and other behavior that can cause division or disaffection in the house of God

Giving

“Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse…” Mal. 3:10A
“…so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver”. 2 Cor. 9: 7B

    • Pay your tithes and offering faithfully; it’s part of worship
    • Contribute to other causes and projects as you’re able
    • Bless others materially and financially as you’re led
    • If possible, avoid giving repayable loans in the church; default might offend you and create animosity amongst brethren in the church.
    • Honor you father and mother financially; it is a commandment with a blessing;
    • Giving to impress, or receive praises of men is wrong and vain.
    • Give out of honest, legitimate income.Gain of fraudulent and sinful means will be judged.

Prayers and Spiritual Warfare

“…men ought always to pray and not to faint”. Luke 18: 1B
“Oh let the wickedness of the wicked come to an end…” Ps. 7: 9A

    • Spiritual warfare in not done by proxy; you must be personally engaged
    • Contribute to other causes and projects as you’re able
    • Prayer is the believer’s’ weapon; use it often
    • There is ongoing spiritual battle between forces of darkness and children of God;
    • A complacent Christian will often concede defeat in issues of life and destiny;
    • Pray to maintain your status and testimony as a Christian;
    • Have times of personal fasting, prayers, and vigils to be on top of issues;
    • Prayers and spiritual warfare are not an alternative to clear salvation and righteous living.

Marriage, Family Life, and Child Training

“Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers…” 2 Cor. 6:14A
“Train up a child in the way he should go…he will not depart from it”. Prov. 22:6

    • Marriage in instituted by God between a man and a woman
    • The word of God forbids marriage between a believer and a non-believer
    • Cohabitation is no marriage but immorality; pre-marital intimacy is sin;
    • Train your children by biblical standard, not worldly standard;
    • Divorce is not the will of God
    • The man is the head of the woman; wives, submit unto your husbands
    • No man hates his own flesh; husbands, love your wives.

Christian Service & Evangelism

“Go ye therefore and teach all nations…” Matt. 28: 19A
“Go ye also into the vineyard, and whatsoever is right, I will give you…” Matt. 20: 4A

    • Every genuinely born again Christian should be a worker in the church;
    • Evangelise personally, collectively, by your life, and by inviting people to church
    • Make yourself available; you can be helped to discover your potentials
    • Work for God today as if there won’t be a tomorrow;
    • Cooperate with other workers and ministers in your area of assignment;
    • Avoid making monetary gain your goal in the work of God
    • Do all things as one who will give account: you will. Romans 14:12

Tithe and offering

    • As a Bible believing Church, we believe in tithe as commanded in Malachi 3:10, to bring all the tithes to the house of God and that offering should be giving cheerfully without been compelled as each has purposed in his heart according to 2 Cor. 9:6-7. This is for the effective administration of the church.
